Came here for a Tuesday night supper, with reservations for two. They had seated someone else in our place due to a first-name mix-up, but were pleasant to accommodate. The place was packed, though it didn't take long for us to be seated. We sat in the not-too-noisy bar area at long communal tables that were a plus - just close enough to neighbors to chat or not. The biggest plus of the evening was the personnel - from seaters to servers, all were genuinely friendly and respectful, despite their young age and a more aged clientelle. The food was plentiful and fresh, so important for a seafood restaurant. Making an exception to my no-chain-restaurants rule was worthwhile at this Bonefish.

Dinner on a Friday evening with a little baby was effortless. Service was fantastic and food was delicious. The chowder and bang bang shrimp are very popular appetizers. Out fish entrees with mango sauce were amazing. Despite being a visitor to FL, I would seek out this place for another meal before I leave. Definitely recommend for great food, service and baby friendly environment.

Located in a plaza where parking is always a hassle. They have valet out front though. The interior decor is really dark. Portions are pretty small. I think I'd much rather go to J. Alexander's or Copper Canyon Grill over this place again. *Bang Bang Shrimp - their "signature" appetizer that gets rave reviews. If you've ever had good walnut shrimp at a chinese restaurant, you'll know to avoid this dish like the plague. It was basically wannabe walnut shrimp glazed with spicy mayo and that sweet and sour sauce that comes with your Micky D's chicken nuggets. The batter was soggy. The shrimp tasted like it was soaked in bleach. BLEACH! Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I won't be trying this again. * Chilean Sea Bass with mango salsa - pretty good, but again, it's hard to screw up on sea bass. * Chicken Marsala - not bad, not memorable either. * Key Lime Pie - no. go to Joe's. * Macademia Nut Brownie- usually I love flourless chocolate souffles with rasbperry sauce -- I think it's the ultimate pairing. Whoever came up with it is genuis. However, this brownie was super dry, the ice cream was probably the cheapest brand they could find at the Winn-Dixie's down the street, and the raspberry sauce was really thick and grossly sweet. Couldn't really taste the berry flavor at all. 1-star, only because it's dessert and I have a soft spot for all desserts.

I absolutely love this place. Moderate prices and great deals on Monday nights for martinis: $5. I particularly love their winter white cosmopolitan with chilled and dried cranberries. Their menu, specially for appetizers is phenomenal for the seafood lover. Their bang-bang shrimp appetizer is a MUST. Also, their sushi tuna appetizer, along with their mussels. I rarely move past the appetizer menu and house salad. However, the few times i've had their trout and scallops, I have never been disappointed. The bar-tending staff is great and super friendly, so is the rest of staff I have ever interacted with. Love going back!

Disappointing! If one word sums it up. We have eaten in Bonefish Grill in Boca 30 times but it has gone downhill over the years. Keep giving it another chance. Tonight the best was the mashed potatoes. We told our waitress there was something wrong. She offered to get us another serving of mashed or a different side. My daughter loves the mashed so we asked for another one. It was the same. I called the manager over and he went back in the kitchen to see what the problem was. He was honest and said he tried them and the cooks left out all the flavorings. They were serving plain mashed potatoes. He was nice enough to buy us a desert but the fact is they don't take pride in what they are serving. The chocolate brownie which we love, is usually wonderful and lacked the true raspberry sauce which makes the taste. My daughter and my Wife had Kobe burgers and they were OK. I had mahi and my side of spaghetti squash was more like a puree as it was overcooked and tasteless. Salad had no dressing at All, which is common at this location. I eat in many a Bonefish outside of Boca for work, including other states and the food is generally better than this location. It's sad to say but, The only thing memorable about this meal will be to remember not to go back. At this point I think it's more like Red Lobster or a lesser quality restaurant maybe because they are are cooking for the 75 plus crowd and nobody notices and not enough people care.

I always under estimated the Bonefish Grill but wow what a fantastic dining experience from the decor to the service and most importantly the food. Started off with some BANGIN bang bang shrimp then my wife got this nice piece of tilapia stuffed with crab and deliciousness and daddy got a buttery soft filet mignon and a draft beer to wash it down. Defintely will come back and reccommend.

The bang bang shrimp is always bangin! Fresh daily always delicious specials. Excellent service, but always very packed so expect a wait or reservation. We got at least a dozen different dishes between our table, all of us were thrilled and I didn't try one thing I wasn't impressed with. It is a bit pricey (roughly $30-40 for a full meal with tax and tip) but I think we got what we paid for. My only gripe is the menu and decor tends to be a bit generic, and it would be nice to see more inventive dishes, though they do have a variety of rotating classics and they are always good. Bonefish doesn't surprise, but it consistently offers a high quality seafood experience. I've been to Bonefish several times and I look forward to returning many more!

The best part about Bonefish Grill was waiting for a table to open up. The valet overheard our conversation about wanting a really good Key Lime pie, and directed me to a place to obtain said pie. It was all downhill after that. A place called Bonefish should probably do good fish. But they don't. My bass was exceedingly bland, which was such a disappointment. They had a special for this thing called "Bang Bang Shrimp" which ended up being smaller deep fried shrimp tossed in a spicy sauce to cover up the fact that the shrimp weren't of good quality. The service was a bit cold. My margarita, which they claim to be "special" on their menu, was overly sweet. And the brownie tasted like it was out of a box. Ick.

Love. Coconut shrimp and the gorgonzola salmon are so delish. Nicole is our new favorite bartender/server. Coming from So California to Boca having a friendly face to see when there are so many rude people in this town is incredibly refreshing.

Have stopped eating in the main dining room and favor the bar. The restaurant tends to attract an older Boca crowd, and while I have nothing against older people (I'm 62), the feel of the dining room is dark and dingy. A combination of lighting and low ceilings painted black! The bar has LIFE to it, attracts singles, as well as couples who are adventuresome and like to eat at the communal tables or right at the bar. Appetizers are wel sized and yummy, especially the bang bang shrimp and mussels. Have not been disappointed with any meal.

When it comes to dining out, I usually feel that fine food and fish do not conflate. However, Bonefish Grill on Powerline Road in Boca Raton, although it is a chain and runs by formula, continues to impress my wife, our friends, and me. First, the meals, no matter which of the fresh entrees we have ordered, are always cooked just right and flavored subtly. Second, the wait staff is courteous, professional, and never bats an eye at the various requests for "sauce on the side," "broiled but with no butter," or "we'd like a different vegetable with that." If you're looking for a comfortable dining experience, where the food tastes like it's supposed to and no request seems too extreme (as long as it's somewhere on the menu), you'll enjoy Bonefish Grill.

Very nice seafood restaurant with good drinks, excellent appetizers (Bang Bang Shrimp), tons of fresh seafood dishes, and a wide selection of deserts. The only issue is parking, but they offer valet service.

Eight people in our party, all of whom are fussy. Our experience tonight was fantastic! Food was well prepared and delicious. The drinks are good and the service was attentive. We came back to this restaurant after leaving 2 nights earlier because our reservation was 45 min delayed. it was past 9pm and we left! Tonight made up for our initial bad experience. Highly recommended. Special thanks to managers Ed Stone and Jim Powell for taking such good care of us.

We went tonight and it was really packed, and I was surprised because it was early on a Thursday night. But the typical age was rather elderly, so I guess that is the time that's popular with that crowd. My excuse for eating early is I have a 3 yr old I need to get home, so don't think I'm the pot calling the kettle black by being there early and being a hypocrite. ;-) Anyway, the food was really good, especially the bang bang shrimp and the fish tacos. However, I had one big issue, which was that their "lobster thermidor" was not like any other lobster thermidor I've ever seen. I should have taken a photo but I forgot, but I'll explain. Usually lobster thermidor is stuffed lobster served in a lobster shell that has been halved and filled. Their version came out and it was a piece of fish with some lobster pieces and some sauce over mashed potatoes. It was in the description about the mashed potatoes and fish, but I thought that they would be stuffed into the lobster shell with the lobster pieces and fish as the topping. (I hope this makes sense). I asked the waitress if I possibly was given the wrong meal, and she said no. I Googled on my phone photos of "lobster thermidor" and showed her that was what I expected, not a fillet of fish with a piece of lobster claw meat. I was really nice about it and I know it wasn't her fault, it was just a misunderstanding. I offered to talk to her manager if they gave her any trouble about it. She was very nice and accommodating about it instead of defensive, so we tipped her well. Altogether, a good experience despite the lobster thermidor issue!

I received a flyer in the paper with a coupon for a BOGO for their New Saturday Lunch. Sounded nice so we went. Arrived about 1:30PM. The hostess was busy jabbing with another waitress for several minutes without even acknowledging us. She then handed us a pager and told us there was like a 20 minute wait. I looked around puzzled as the restaurant had half of the tables Empty! We asked about sitting by the bar or at a hightop by the bar. We sat there. There was another party next to us that was at the other hightop. The bartender finally came over to us and took our drink order. We just asked for water, That was the signal for the bartender to ignore us. 20 minutes went by and we were completely ignored. The table next to us all had glasses of wine so that's where the bartender was focusing her time on. A Woman behind us was complaining to the bartender that She Too was being ignored. Finally after Another 15 minutes a waiter in a White coat came over. (I thought he was the chef) He took our order. They brought out my Wife's Soup after 10 minutes, but we didn't get any bread with oil like all of the other tables had. Finally after 45 minutes in this half empty place, I got up and left! What a Joke! The place looked like it was being run by a bunch of untrained High School Kids. You LOST ME as a customer Bonefish!! 45 Minutes with NO FOOD in a half empty restaurant..... Pathetic!!

Place was packed on an early Wednesday night! I was glad we arrived early and avoided the wait. Great service from the hostess, servers, and the manager on duty. Tiffany, our server, was excellent and really took good care of us. I thought the food was excellent, but there was a seasoning that was added to most of my dish that I thought may have been used a little excessively. Steak was grilled to a perfect medium. Scallops and shrimp were super fresh and delicious. Great selection on the kids menu. Would have had their Strawberry Shortcake, but went with the Civeche as my appetizer and was totally stuffed by the end of the meal. My kids had a great time with the craft paper on the table. Best part about it was the meal was very well priced for all that we ate.

Stay Away!! Such better fish restaurants in south Florida. This place is a joke. The shareable is for 1 person not two. They couldn't get a drink order right all night. I think you would be better off spending your money at Mickey D's. The manager is incompetent and clearly lacks any customer service training. This restaurant ruined my father in laws 60th bday. They still lure in unsuspecting old folks looking for a bargain but eventually this will catch up to them as well. Can't say it enough stay away!!!

My parents kept ranting and raving about this restaurant and finally we had the opportunity to go. We made reservations for 8:45 pm on a Thursday night expecting the place to be busy. Just an FYI the hostess will tell you that regardless of your reservation they request a grace period of 10-15 minutes during peak season - no big deal for us. We went to the bathrooms to wash up before dinner as we had been out shopping prior. They are a little dingy and small but otherwise clean. The restaurant is absolutely packed. If there was a square inch free, I'd have been surprised. Tables are literally within inches of the next table and so it was fairly loud. By 9:15 several tables were empty and the place quieted down to normal decibels. Just a note here for those who hate dark restaurants - this is totally not the place for you. Also, those of you who check your cell phones every few minutes - cell reception kept going in and out which is very strange... I have a 4G phone and could only get a network connection that read GSM, weird! The bread to start with is fresh and delicious. Their caesar salad ($2.90 accompanying an entree) is tasty and beyond reasonable for its size. I had the Kobe Beef burger which was very flavorful; however, I realized after it was set in front of me that I was never asked how I liked it cooked - got it well done as opposed to medium. It had more than enough flavor to compensate but still strange nonetheless. The green beans that I subbed for the fries were less than spectacular but good enough. My mother had the ahi tuna with jasmine rice - she polished the plate which I could only assume means it was delicious. My father had the chicken milanese and did the same. My sister had the filet mignon. She said it was good but was no more flavorful than anything we could have whipped up at home. I should also note that my mother asked the server to make a recommendation for a red wine, I can't remember what he selected but she absolutely loved it (second glass, was in order and she contemplated a third). All in all, we'll definitely be back. What's great about this restaurant is that the prices are beyond reasonable, the food is high quality and the menu has a nice variety. Parking is a total pain in the you-know-what as it shares a lot with a burger joint and a plaza.

We have been here for their special happy hr invites. It's a little diff than reg happy hrs & we were pleased with the results. Their table bar area has chairs (their restaurant in Wellington floes not). Though we are baby boomers, we feel the Wellington location get too many retirees. We went this week for my husband's b'day. It was happy hr & we both had 2 drinks ($5 specially priced for drinks & appetizers). Had the Bang Bang Chicken & I always like that! I have made that at home with an Internet recipe & mine's close, but theirs are better. We moved to a nearby table in the bar area for dinner, as it was around 6pm & the main dining room was empty. We could have eaten there, but we choose not to. We were Told by the waitress we could stay at the bar area, as she also handled that area. But we wanted to sit at a booth. No problem. I has the Lily's chicken, always a favorite. Hubby had the trout & loved it (he can be a picky eater). Our waitress was excellent & pleasant. The mgr came by to check how everything was going. We declined dessert & were pleasantly surprised that the mgr came by & presented my husband with a gift & wished him a happy birthday! The box contained 2 Choc decorated discs with a note from Bonefish Grill. This was a great touch & nice way to end our meal.

Food was ok, service NG. Waiter seemed ok at first, then disappeared to never be seen again. Apps not cleared, not water refills, etc. A visit to the front caused him to finally reappear, making a lame excuse. He was tipped accordingly.

Bang bang shrimp is delicious but when it arrives before your drink order then you have issues. We had to move from the communal table to the bar to get service. Fish is fresh and our second server who was the bartender was very accommodating . We were offered a free dessert which was the creme brûlée - very delicious.

I'm not very big on chains, but haven't been to a bonefish since undergrad in gville, watermelon and strawberry martinis for sis mama and i, delicious, refreshing and light for a summer cocktail. beef dumplings and ceviche to start off with were tasty as well. sis got her well done filet mama and i had sea bass with mango salsa potatos au gratin and zucchini and tomatoes, creme brulee for dessert, way too much whipped cream, everything else was prepared right, was tasty. in a shopping plaza next to anthonys coal fired pizza as well as other shops and restaurants. parking is a bitch. just A ok as with most chains.

My wife came home this past Sunday night and we wanted to grab a bite to eat. We had not been to Bonefish in a long time and now we know why. First of all when we went in we were the only people younger than 60. I'm not kidding. Now that did not bother us and actually found it amusing. The service was average. But you could see the look of misery on the servers faces. The old folks had exhausted them. Now the set up of this place is terrible. It's a very small room that has a ton of chairs and tables crammed together. I ordered the fish tacos and it was disgusting. The soft shells were falling apart, nothing tasted fresh and it was very short of actual fish. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

clean restaurant with a partially partioned bar....somewhat dark in the main dining room...wait staff: particularly good, neatly dressed, better than a number of patrons, seem eager to please and help each other out....a good sign of skilled staff....Decor: subdued and nothing spectacular but relaxing.....Food: bang bang shrimp...very good flavor and shrimp cooked perfectly...Fish Tacos with chips: could not have been better.....Shrimp with scallops....very good, too much food.... Tempura Monkfish: very good with a bit of watery sauce but tasted a bit salty.... Dessert: Chocolate fudge cake with Ice cream....cake was good...supposed to be sweet....ice cream was the usual fluffy stuff... Conclusion: Outstanding food, price reasonable, portions were too large but that was ok with us..... Have been there twice....Will return again for different entrees..... Please note: we like to eat before 5:30PM and have one large meal a day....

I consider myself a bonefisher for life. We have been to different bonefish locations with the boca location being close in proximity to my work. Wednesdays are the day of choice with a special on bang bang shrimp. Being that this location is in a shopping plaza instead of a standalone structure the parking is a hassle sometimes but the wait times at this location are shorter compared to other locations around town. As for the food bonefish is very consistent regardless of which location you go to but the service at the boca one is amazing and lots of emphasis is placed on customer satisfaction by the staff. Also this location has valet parking service for the plaza.

I usually enjoy this place and the food I consistently good. Tonight I had the displeasure to meet probably, imho, the most dreadful bartending staff ever. The gentleman seemed to be completely distracted. He just didn't seem to be interested in being a bartender or any other customer service job. From making me wait 15 minutes before taking my order while staring through me to forgetting to bring my drink to breaking a couple of glasses in the ice chest, without emptying it. Oh yeah, he forgot to charge me for a drink. His bar mate was a young lady that seemed perpetually pissed off, probably due to working with the guy. Damn, this was just a bad experience.

This review is for brunch, and I have to say I think Bonefish Grill's brunch is very underrated. It is offered on Sundays from 10-2. We decided to head over around noon. I hopped on the website and noticed you could make reservations so I made one, just in case it was busy...I figured brunch in Boca would be busy on a Sunday. When we arrived it became obvious that the reservation was not necessary as we were one of maybe five tables, but I liked that it was so easy to reserve online. We looked over the brunch menu which is broken down into omelets, brunch favorites, and eggs benedicts. They also offer a decent amount of items from their regular menu. Each item on the brunch menu was somewhere around $10, and brunch cocktails were around $6 a glass; however, they also offer an endless brunch option. For $20 you can pick a brunch entree accompanied by endless mimosas, bellinis, and sangria. I reasoned that we pretty much had to do the endless brunch because I knew I wanted one drink, and if I dared order two we would be losing money otherwise. For my entree I chose the surf and turf eggs benedict which had pieces of lobster and filet on the english muffins along with poached eggs and hollandaise. You could choose asparagus or potatos au gratin on the side and I went with the asparagus. I was very pleased with my entree. There was a decent amount of lobster and steak, and I liked the asparagus side choice. My boyfriend went with the cajun shrimp omelet. He enjoyed it, but when I tried a bite I didn't think goat cheese went with cajun flavors at all, but I'm pretty weird about goat cheese so it was probably just my taste. I should also mention that we started with the edamame hummus. This was probably one of my favorite hummus dishes ever, The roasted tomatoes on top made it especially great. The service was good, and my bellini was replenished throughout the brunch. I was even offered another after I was done eating. I was impressed that they weren't trying to push people away after the food was gone. For the food and the value this is a really great deal. The only downside was the atmosphere was a little strange, probably because the restaurant was so empty, but I won't complain that I didn't have to wait for a great unlimited mimosa brunch.

We had brunch at the Boca location. First time there and we liked it very much. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Service was excellent. For starters, we ordered the crab cakes and Bang Bang shrimp, both very good. For entrees, I ordered the imperial tilapia and my wife had the breaded shrimp. Would recommend to try and we will return again.

Excellent service great food we had the Lily's chicken and shrimp and scallops. Both were delicious. The house salads had pumpkin seeds which was very nice compliment to the dressing. We also had the edamame appetizer which comes with a green tea salt. Then for dessert we had the flourless brownie AMAZING!!!! Very fast service we were in and out in under an hour.

I'm not the biggest fish person, but Bonefish Grill still have things to offer here. By far the best menu item I've had is the Bang Bang Shrimp. It's basically their signature dish, and rightfully so. The shrimp and well cooked and the spicy sauce on them gives it a real punch, but portion size could be bigger. Coming in at over $9, this expensive appetizer is worth it, but still wish it was less expensive. The Chicken Marsala here is good, but far from great. The chicken is juicy yet flavorless, same goes with the marsala sauce (I think they recently took this off the menu, shame). It comes with a side, which is pretty good, mainly the mashed potatoes, but nothing like a side salad comes with it. The redeeming factor for this item was that the price wasn't bad for everything you got (it was around $14). The Bang Bang Shrimp Crispy Tacos are a nice appetizer/dinner as well. The menu isn't huge, especially if you don't eat fish, but you'll be able to find a chicken or steak dish if not. Also, the fresh bread with their olive oil is another plus, simple, but really good. It is also free, which is something that is good here, especially because your bill will come out high no matter what you get here. Service here is hit or miss. One time our waitress was very nice, but extremely slow. It seemed she never came over to our table other than to bring out our food, and rarely checked up on us. I have some major problems with various parts of the atmosphere. The inside normally would easily get a much higher grade because it is nice, clean and romantic decor, problem is the layout of the seating area is so close to each other that when the restaurant is crowded you are practically eating on top of each other. No joke, the seating tables here makes a New York City subway at rush hour seem relaxing and cozy. Also another major minus for here is the internet does not work once you step inside of Bonefish Grill. For some reason at this location my phone's connection stops working all together. This has happened to all my family and friends I know who go here. The inside of the situation room at the White House has less stringent internet connections than inside of Bonefish. Overall, I want to like this place more, but it has one too many flaws to prevent it from moving up a rating. Food (B), Pricing (C-), Atmosphere (B-), Service (B-)

Went for brunch with friends. Place was empty when we arrived at 11 but 2/3 full by the time we left at 1.Nothing outstanding about the service or the food. My cappuccino was good but was warm, not hot. My California omelet included 4 spears of asparagus and a piece of toast. It was decent but I've tasted better for a lot less. Bottom-line, stick to what the to well-seafood dinners.

My mother got us a gift card to this place for 100 bucks. What a great way to start the night. So, we ordered some wine while awaiting the highly raved bang bang shrimp. The wine was great and fairly priced. They have a super big bottle of wine which is a tad stronger and has a fantastic flavor. If you sit at the Baez be sure to try it. they will give you a taster of it before you have to commit. :). Bang bang shrimp arrived. Wow. They were incredible. Soooo good. Not sure why this place gets lower reviews by others. We were treated extremely well the entire time. The crab cakes were pretty good, not out of this world good. However, I seem to have bad luck and always get a shell, not this night!! The actual dinner was delicious. I got the mobster grilled cheese which was really, really good. All in all, fantastic experience. Have no complaints at all.

I went to this Bonefish because of my great experience in winter garden just to see if this restaurant is as good.Well I tell you it was. The food was as usual as good as you can want along with the service. The waiters name was Jonathan R, who was polite and cheerful. The Sangria was just as we wanted it. There was four people in our party and the other couple was very glad we went there.I had their very special lamb chops which is different for me because I always eat sea food there. needless to say they were well made to perfection. My wife had a grilled shrimp dinner which she is still talking about at the pool. My cousin had the trout and was surprised how good it was and his wife had the lamb chops like I had.We were never rushed and was able to dine rather then just eat. O by the way, I had the berries and whip cream dessert which of course came with two spoons and the coffee was fresh and just right. If you are ever in Boca and really want a nice meal look no further.

This location of Bone Fish is not the best. Unless you are over 65 years old. Came her with my sister and a friend, got some bang bang shrimp, alwyas great. We were recommended the hummus ademama, and it was worse thing we had, took one bite and had to drink a whole glass of water to get back to normal. Sister had the Kilts Chicken, and loved it. I ordered the salmon with asparagus salad, just to find out its not in the menu anymore:( made me sad. My friend had the fish tacos- nothing crazy. Now, problem in this location is that if you are not quit you get looks from everyone. Young? Loud? This is not the place for you. Made us all feel very UN welcome.

My boyfriend and I received a gift from his mom so we were excited to try bonefish out for the first time. I've heard over and over again about the bang bang shrimp so we started with that and a glass of pinot noir wine. The bang bang shrimp was AMAZING!!! I probably could have eaten 5 more! Also for an appetizer we got the crabcakes which were out of this world good!! For dinner I got the filet mignon and it was cooked perfect with a butter sauce on top ! My boyfriend got the lobster grilled cheese that was just ok and the Mac and cheese was just ok too! I can't wait to go back and try other things here.

Disappointing, been to the Ft. Lauderdale location many times. The Lauderdale was clean, service above average, and the noise level reasonable for a usual crowed bar area. That being said, Boca location,Bar anything but crowed, most of the intrusive noise coming from announcements in the kitchen, kind of a dirty looking restaurant men's room cluttered with furniture?? Service ok. Won't go back to Boca, even though more convenient, for us.Very disappointed.

Sorry to see this place on the decline. Went the other night and sat at the bar. There were about 7 walkers in our way that have no business being there. Manager Dawn was rude as usual. I cannot believe she is still the manager. She has been super unfriendly every time we go. The bathroom was dirty. The Moscow Mule and wagyu dumplings were the best part but the Moscow mule was mostly ice. The food - fish and chips and chicken teriyaki bowl were terrible. I'm lucky I didn't get food poisoning. The bread was the best part!

We have been going to Bone Fish in Boca for a very long time & until last night always had a great dining experience. The food & service was wonderful as usual, BUT the young lady at the podium needs a refresher course in customer service. I got there approximately 1 - 3 minutes ahead of the rest of my family. I told her upon arrival that they were right behind me, but please seat me as I'm very arthritic & can't stand. She then proceeded to tell me, in a tone that I can only describe as condescending, that this was against policy. I was flabbergasted. I turned around & I was walking out she said in a very sarcastic voice "Have a nice night". My family got there just at that time & my husband & son went to the manager. She is a lovely lady named Heather & couldn't have been more cordial. We had a lovely dinner, but we'll never go back. As good as the food is, the young lady at the front ruined our appetite for The Bone Fish Grill. Too many other restaurants in Boca that give us the gracious courtesy we deserve.

Although the food is great always here the service tonight slacked unfortunately. Nonetheless I will continue to come as one persons lack of service should not deteriorate the well know reputation of this great restaurant.

Found this place off of Yelp. Good call. The food was delicious, so were the drinks. They were still making a wonderful winter martini with white cranberry, elderflower and lime juice. Perfect. Had the roasted rainbow trout. It was done perfectly and paired with sugar snap peas and garlic mashed potatoes. I ordered a cup-sized lobster bisque to go with my meal but that never arrived. The bartender was moderately attentive but somewhat aloof. As soon as all the locals left, a scowl returned to his face (I knew it was hiding) and he never said another word to me. It's too bad - if the food wasn't so good I would give three stars for the pouty bartender and the wayward lobster bisque. The locals were fun, the food was good and the drinks wonderful. Regardless, I would go back.

I enjoyed this restaurant immensely. I went there on a trip where I was reconnecting with old friends. The atmosphere was great and the food very tasty. I liked that while it was a weekend and very busy, we were able to carry on a conversation without straining to hear above the music level. I actually went back the very next night as I was meeting with another person and found this was a great option. First night, I had the philly cheese steak and it was excellent. The meet was cooked just right and the bread was fresh. the next night I had the crab cakes for appetizer and they were amazing. They had huge chunks of crab in them and were unlike any I've ever had before. I loved them. Then for entree I had the Caribbean salad with chicken. It was fresh and very tasty, but nothing to write home about. I'd definitely go to this place again.

I use to love Bonefish but the last couple of visits has left me wondering why! The very last visit, we got a "shareable" for 2 people...2 salads and 4 seafood items. Of course the salads were good but the 4 items were not enough for two grown adults.

Second time I've been to Bonefish now. I went to the one in Boynton Beach and last night the one in Boca. I think it is one of my favorite restaurants now. Great food, drinks, and service both times. The spicy shrimp appetizer is awesome. They make my favorite drink (mojito) amazing. Last night I tried the Pork tenderloin and it was INCREDIBLE. Not a single complaint, would definitely recommend!!

This used to be one of my favorite spots until they "changed their menu" why fix something if its not broken?? I mean they still have their bang bang shrimp but they had a Bomb salmon asparagus salad and its gone! I was so upset I spoke to the manager and he said that the crowd didn't like it?? But of course after I had a mediocre salad replacement the manager said next time ask the waitress and if they have the ingredients to make it they can arrange to "recreate" the salmon salad. due to the inconvenience they gave me a flour less brownie which was dry and disgusting. Why didn't he ask me i actually really liked their creme brûlée. I will not be coming back bang bang shrimp just isn't a good enough reason!

I had a buy one get one free coupon for Sunday brunch at Bonefish Grill. I used to go there a lot because they're practically across the street from my house. I stopped going because the portions got smaller, and I had been there a few times when the service was not so good. When I got the coupon I decided to give it another try. We got to the restaurant at about 1:30 pm. Their brunch goes until 2 pm. My husband wanted the French toast, but they were out of it. We both ordered omelets. I had the Oscar which had crab, asparagus, and cheese. My husband had the Cajun which came with shrimp, peppers, cheese, and Cajun sauce. He had potatoes with his. I had the fruit salad with mine. Both orders came with toast. It took over a half hour before we got our food. The food was okay I thought mine was good, but a little greasy. My husband said his was fair. He thought the Cajun sauce was too spicy for his taste. Our server, Mattie, was excellent and went out of her way to be helpful. While we were eating I noticed that the elderly couple seated next to us was having a problem. They had come in with the same buy one get one free coupon that I had, but they also had a $20 gift card. They had ordered the brunch and the woman had a few mimosas. After applying the BOGO coupon their food came out to about $12. They gave their server, Sean, the gift card to cover the remainder of their bill, including the drinks. He took the gift card. When he returned he said the card paid for the food, but could not be used for drinks. The woman was very upset and said nobody had told her that. She tried to explain to Sean, their server, that the card was for $20 and they had only used $12. Apparently they don't give change when you use a gift card. She asked if she could get a credit for their next visit, or order something to take home, so they wouldn't lose the $8. I don't know if the server didn't hear her or didn't understand her. He just walked away. I told them to call the manager. The woman wanted to, but her husband didn't. I guess he was embarrassed. I felt really bad for them and it put a damper on our meal.

Unfortunately this place has really gone down hill over the years and is now just about as good as Red Lobster. Overpriced for sub par food. We will not be back.

There is something quite not right about this particular location about Bonefish Grill. Whenever, I have gone to this Boca location, always one entree, appetizer or dessert comes out wrong. Example in the past: bang bang shrimp had almost no sauce on it or on another occasion had way too much sauce. I had one meal there a few months ago with too much salt on the fish. Yesterday, the molten chocolate macadamia nut brownie with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice (usually the brownie is nicely warm) , the brownie was freezer cold... That being said, I still think u should give this restaurant a chance and if its your first time trying bonefish drive 20 minutes and go to the Coral Springs location, you won't be disappointed.

Holy crap was the seafood fresh! The grilled mahi mahi in particlular was mouth wateringly succulent! The calamari appetizers were delicious. Bonefish Grill back home in Colorado never tasted this good. That's the advantage of being in South Florida that the locals here take for granted. Like almost every place in Boca it seems, expect a wait time of 20-30 minutes during the dinner rush. We also happened to be the youngest people in the place which was populated by Boca retirees. Call ahead and make a reservation.

Tonight we visited Bonefish grill in Boca raton FL. We have ordered the ceviche many many times and have always loved it but tonight we were very disappointed as the recipe has been changed drastically. I cold hardly recognize it as ceviche. All it consisted of was a few shrimp in an ice bowl on some lettuce with a bit of guacamole. Not sure way they changed it because it was delicious the way it was. Very Disqppointed.

On paper Bonefish Grill sounds like a great place. I'm leary of most chain restaurants and I'm not sure if this is owned by the Darden Group (Olive Garden, Longhorn, Seasons 52, Red Lobster) but they might as well be. Think Bahama Breeze, but more uber white suburbanish. The menu is fun and if you go into the meal with the same mental preparation as you would have for a Carrabba's you'll be fine. I'm not saying its cookie cutter, mass quality, frozen foods with average to above average service, it's not, but it ain't too far from it. The salmon I had was good, tasty too. The bang bang shrimp and Singaporean calamari all fine and were within the chain restaurant standards, I just want people to know what they are getting involved in before they make this commitment. Is it good for a wedding anniversary? No, not unless you want your wife to leave you. It's good for a prom dinner when you're in High School or a decent double date option when you can't get a read on the other couples taste. Go, enjoy, have some drinks and you'll be fine.

Had brunch with them on 11/9/14 and we had a great time. The server was great, fun and precise. I would definitely recommend them and would visit again!!!

Bonefish is one of my favorite "chain restaurants", you usually can't go wrong. This location has great servers, their hostesses on the other hand are quite "bitchy" and "rude".

Surprisingly good food there at a reasonable price. I had the Filet Mignon, Spinach with Garlic, Potatoes Au Gratin, and side salad. The house salad was great with olives and sesame seeds besides generous portion of tomatoes, only $2.90?! They even had Blue Moon ale on draft, and a happy hour to boot. A lot better than I thought it would be. Service was very good, atmosphere is a bit noisy and rushed but at least no tvs playing in the background.

took my mom who lives near this location in boca...we went just for drinks and a few appetizers. when our fabulous waitress becca found out that we had never been to the bonefish grill before she insisted on bringing us some appetizers to try on the house. wow! while enjoying our drinks and the amazing bang bang shrimp (it's good i don't live closer or i'd be here weekly eating those things and i don't even like shrimp!) i had to listen to 3 local women complain about becca (are you serious? i ran a company with 1000+ employees and only wish 1/4 of them were this amazing) and everything else under the sun about this restaurant. then after dinner and drinks for 3 people they decided to leave this hard working woman NOT ONE THIN DIME. i know you get this kind of customer in every service industry, but if my mom hadn't been embarrassed knowing how i speak my mind..i would have told them off myself. when i mentioned this to the manager he told me that the one who complained the loudest is in there every week. it just goes to show that you have to take every review with a grain of salt. some people are just "un-pleaseable". would every visit to this bonefish grill be as great as my first? maybe not. but i don't even live in the state of florida and am already looking forward to my next meal there. and thanks becca for making our initial experience so great.

Not only is Wednesday hump day but it's also Bang day (whoa, hello dirty innuendo!) $5 bang bang shrimp all day long at Bonefish! I love going to the bar, having a $3 glass of their house red (they have merlot and cabernet), noshing on their terrific, fresh bread with the olive oil and basil and people watching. You get a nice mix at this Bonefish location---the functioning alcoholics, the Boca-ites and then once in a blue moon, the normal people. I get all that and walk out the door for $10, you can't beat that! PS-Parking sucks at this location due to the other shops and restaurants. Bonefish has a valet station set up in front but not sure how much it is. Your best bet is to park on the side of the shopping center behind Boardwalk Burgers.

Went here for the first time in Florida. The last visit was in Las Vegas which was phenomenal. This visit was disappointing as My husband ordered a Ribeye and it was overcooked and dry for medium well done. I ordered the Chillean Sea Bass and it didn't have much flavor. The service was great though. Overall food was mediocre but service was good.

We were looking for somewhere to eat near FAU that would be good and wholesome but not pizza. We have eaten at other Bonefish Grill's in Florida and had great success so we tried. Although the prices were a bit more than I remembered them being, we stayed and I am very glad we did. We were seated right away and served our drinks with some bread while we decided. Our Chicken Marsala and Imperial Talapia were delicious from first bight til last. the sides Potato au Gratin, Jasmine Rice, and Ratatouille were fantastic. We tried a local Ft. Lauderdale beer which was a little citrus-y for our taste, but hey, were in Florida, right. $40 for two but the wonderful tastes were worth spending more than on fast food. 6 minutes from campus and worth the trip.
